Who Else Wants a Website for Their Solo Business?
Then you probably know it’s the way people are finding businesses today.
It’s been that way with computers for years now. But with mobile phones and tablets everywhere, an internet search is only a moment away.
If someone needs a carpenter or painter, where are they going to look to find one? I’m sorry to say that, for good or bad, the yellow pages aren’t what they used to be.
It’s now faster to do a web search than dig out the phone-book.
It’s another tool for your business
A house cleaner or pet sitter gets jobs from referrals, of course, but how do they get entirely new clients who are looking for their service? The web.
If someone wonders about the hours of a local hair salon or small engine repair shop, they go the web.
But there are still many, many self-employed folks who aren’t online yet.
And that’s where I come in.
Most website design companies are expensive.
Quite rightly, too. It takes time and skill to design and code a custom website with all the latest special effects. But we don’t need all that.
It’s really overkill for most self-employed business owners like myself who don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on features they don’t really need.
All that most of us need is a simple site with just a few pages. And simple doesn’t mean plain. It’s easy to make an effective and attractive website.
This is all you need
First, a nice Home page, with some photos and a description of how you can help your customers. Maybe the hours you’re open if you have a storefront.
An About page, to tell a little about yourself or your employees. We like doing business with those we know something about.
If you have some nice comments from customers and clients, we’ll put them on a Testimonials page.
And, most importantly, you need a Contact page to make it easy for folks to find you.
You don’t even need a computer yourself. If the best way to reach you is on your cell phone, that’s what they’ll find.
That’s all you need and I’d like to help you get it.
A simple website that’s both attractive and affordable.
Give me a call or shoot me an email and we can go from there, always with no pressure or obligation.
I’ve made websites for years and know how to do this for you.
And, more importantly, I can do it for a lot less
